Our dental implant process

At Lotus Dental Studio, we offer a supportive, step-by-step approach to replacing missing teeth with dental implants. Whether you’re just exploring your options or ready to begin treatment, we’re here to guide you with clarity and care. The process typically involves three main stages:

Personalized Consultation

During your exam or extraction appointment, we’ll walk you through all your options — from doing nothing to partials, bridges, or implants — so you feel fully informed and confident in your next step. If you choose dental implants, we’ll assess your jawbone health and plan a treatment timeline tailored to your needs.

Implant Placement Surgery

In a minor surgical procedure, a small titanium post (the implant) is placed in your jawbone to act as a sturdy, artificial tooth root. To keep you comfortable, we offer local anesthesia and additional sedation options upon request. After surgery, the implant is left to heal beneath the gum with a healing cap in place.

Healing & Restoration

Over the next few months, your implant fuses naturally with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration. Once healing is complete, we’ll attach your final restoration — a custom crown, bridge, or denture — designed to match your natural teeth in shape, shade, and function. You’ll be able to eat, speak, and smile with confidence again.

Rediscover Your Smile

Missing teeth don’t just change how you look; they change how you live. Eating is harder. Smiling feels awkward. Speaking becomes self-conscious.

Dental implants change that. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth, restoring comfort, confidence, and joy. See the transformations for yourself and imagine what’s possible for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

K
L

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a small, biocompatible titanium post that’s surgically placed into the jawbone to act as a root. It supports a crown, bridge, or denture for a natural-looking and stable restoration.

K
L

Is the procedure painful?

Most patients say implant placement is easier than a tooth extraction. We use local anesthesia to ensure a comfortable experience.

Am I a candidate for dental implants?

If you have healthy gums and sufficient bone, you may be a great candidate. Even if you’re not sure, we’ll evaluate your options — including bone grafting or alternatives — during your consultation.

How long do implants last?

With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, dental implants can last 15 years or more — often a lifetime.

What if I’m not ready to decide after an extraction?
